Job summary

Advance Staffing Solutions (The Advance Group) in the Toledo area is seeking qualified CNC Machinists for the first shift. The role offers competitive hourly pay, weekly payroll, and opportunities for career growth in a small shop environment.

You will set up and operate Mazak lathes, program with G-codes, and contribute to a high-mix, low-volume production flow. Entry-level applicants encouraged; experienced machinists rewarded with higher pay.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience preferred; 5-15+ years for experienced roles.
• Strong CNC programming experience required for experienced positions.
• Knowledge of G-codes highly preferred.
• Mazak Mazatrol experience is a plus.
• Mastercam experience preferred; other software considered.
• High-mix, low-volume machining experience preferred.
• Entry-level and recent trade school graduates encouraged to apply.
• Must read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning centers and other machining equipment.
• Program CNC machines using G-codes and conversational programming.
• Read and interpret machining information and production requirements.
• Monitor machines and inspect parts for quality.
• Make machine adjustments as needed.
• Work with different materials, tooling, and machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• May operate two machines at once when production allows.
• May occasionally move to another machine based on production needs.
• Opportunity to learn forklift operation, if interested.
