Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations in Mesa, AZ is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate lathes and related equipment in a brand-new facility.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC lathe production experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong teamwork. You will support KPI goals, participate in Lean & 5S, and ensure quality through in-process inspections.

Shift Hours: 3:15PM- 11:45PM. Applicants must be able to work in the United States; Amphenol is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of lathe production experience on CNC equipment.
• Ability to read job layouts, blueprints, schematics and work from written and verbal job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and related production equipment.
• Assist Production Supervisors with KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost).
• Active participant and advocate of Lean & 5S culture company wide.
• Follow in-process quality inspections and ensure total quality.
• Aid planning & engineering to optimize productivity.
• Provide translation service for team members when required.
• Ensure usage of correct gaging and metrology tools to deliver high quality components.
• Support preventative maintenance of equipment and report machine issues.
