Job summary

Amphenol Corporation's Amphenol Communications Solutions division in Nashua, NH is seeking a Machinist to join a global leader in high-speed interconnects. You will support engineering teams in development, testing and manufacturing of precision parts using Prototrak, CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.

You will read blueprints, set up workpieces, monitor processes, perform in-process and final inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with precision machining equipment.
• Experience with setup and operation of CNC mills, lathes, and CAM software preferred.
• Familiarity with machining a variety of materials such as aluminum, tool steel, stainless steel, copper, and other alloys.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create Prototrak programs for a variety of machines, including milling machines and lathes.
• Operate manual machinery for milling, drilling, turning, and grinding of a variety of materials.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and related verbal instructions.
• Monitor machining processes and perform in-process and final inspection of finished parts.
• Maintain machinery and conduct minor repairs or adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
