Job summary

CMI Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist for the night shift to operate CNC lathes and mills on proven production jobs. You will verify tool offsets, load programs, and perform first piece buy-off, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have 2–5 years of CNC experience, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret complex drawings.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience running CNC lathes or CNC mills.
• Good understanding of GD&T and industry standards of inspection.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the work shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines without oversight running proven production jobs.
• Understand process troubleshooting techniques and display those attributes.
• Demonstrate proper setup techniques, loading, indicating, touch off, and loading of fixtures and tooling.
• Read and interpret drawings, BOMs, tolerances, GD&T symbols and notes.
