Job summary

ManpowerGroup client in Grand Island seeks a Machinist to operate, set up, and program CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts. You will mentor operators and support production workflows while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of machining experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1 -2 years of machine operating experience, preferable in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to program CNC machines from drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, thread dimensions, and manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work overtime or alternative shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC and manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently.
• Set up machines for production requirements and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and manufacturing documents to produce parts to quality standards.
• Mentor and train machine operators while assisting supervisors with daily production workflow and quality initiatives.
• Monitor production processes, maintain accurate documentation, and report all safety and quality concerns.
