Job summary

Cope Plastics Inc. has a full-time CNC Machinist Lathe opportunity in the fabrication department. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and dedicated to quality service. 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with a $2 shift differential.

Starts at $21.97/hour, higher with experience. Responsibilities include programming, setup, and inspection of machined parts. Requires high school diploma or GED and at least three years of general machining/CNC experience.

• Education: High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Keys in or downloads provided programs into mills, lathes and other machines.
• Operates control console to orient spindle and check work position at reference points.
• Adjusts machine and fixture stops to maintain tolerances.
• Interprets part drawings and uses measuring instruments to verify positioning.
• Inspects finished parts, deburrs, and prepares parts for packaging.

We have a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented CNC Machinist Lathe within our fabrication department. The ideal candidate is professional, courteous and dedicated to providing excellent service through quality work. Individuals with shop, fabrication/manufacturing, and saw experience are ideal.
