Job summary

Paycom in Houston, TX is seeking a CNC machinist to manage machine setup, programming, and production according to engineering prints. You will control in-process inspection and material handling for the designated machine, aiming to meet efficiency targets set by supervision.

The role requires high school education and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong math and measurement skills. Teamwork and training of others are expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• 5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent per Manager guidance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Process Control related to the Machine assigned by the Machine Shop Supervisor.
• In-process inspection, handling and inventory control of equipment flowing through the machine.
• Receiving material, reading engineering prints, setup, programming and production of the machine.
• Hit target efficiencies established by the Machine Shop Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager.
• Assist and train other employees when asked by Supervisor.
• Promote a team environment and cooperate with all departments to resolve issues.
