Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate and set up CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and create quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3+ years of CNC machining experience, a high school diploma, and strong math/measurement skills. Safety, GMP/GDP adherence and continuous improvement are essential, with a focus on quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC machining and progressive machining of various parts with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure product quality by following OOQ standards and using a range of measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and adhere to PM schedule.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
