Blue Origin LLC in Washington state seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to execute mid-to-high complexity tasks and ensure tolerances plus process discipline. You will set up and operate CNC machines, document best practices, and collaborate with engineering to mitigate risks. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Relocation assistance may be provided. The role requires the ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, and advanced machine controls, with a track record of delivering precision

Qualifications

• Five years of CNC machining experience minimum.
• Ability to interpret standard engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficiency with shop math for accurate adjustments.
• Experience selecting tooling for various materials and ops.
• Capable of holding tolerances within +/- .001 inches.
• Developing ability to set up mid-to-high complexity tasks.
• Understanding of advanced machine controls and G/M codes.

Responsabilités

• Execute low to medium-complexity machining tasks with quality standards.
• Document processes and best practices for repeatability and team knowledge.
• Troubleshoot problems with programming/engineering to mitigate risks.
• Perform set-ups for mid-to-high complexity jobs using manual and automated methods.
• Operate CNC tools to produce hardware meeting engineering specs.
• Suggest improvements and collaborate on process optimization.
• Comply with safety, quality, and company policies while following Leadership Principles.
