Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions in Agawam, MA seeks a CNC Machinist II to operate CNC machines, inspect parts with precision tools, and maintain tooling and machines to meet tight tolerances. You will collaborate with programmers and engineers to optimize processes and ensure production targets are met.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to read blueprints, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in CNC machining or equivalent role.
• Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis.
• Understand the machine operation process and movement of completed components.
• Read and understand blueprints and close tolerance requirements.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to produce components, monitoring processes and adjusting as needed.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges to verify dimensions.
• Make tool changes, offsets and program adjustments per specs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines and report issues.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and quality problems to maintain flow and quality.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Document production records including part counts, machine logs, and QC data.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers and engineers to optimize processes and hit targets.
