General Equipment, located in Minnesota, is seeking a CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes. You will verify parts, document production activity, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Required: two-year technical degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in CNC machining, proficiency with CAM systems, GD&T, and precision measuring tools; strong English communication and lean manufacturing knowledge.

Formación

• Knowledge of GD&T and geometric tolerancing.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and their application.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques as applied to the company’s products.
• Proficiency with CAM systems and CNC process controls.
• Ability to plan, organize, and work independently under time constraints.

Responsabilidades

• Plan machining operations by reviewing orders, drawings, and specs; interpret GD&T.
• Program mills and lathes; set tool registers and offsets; calculate requirements.
• Set up mills and lathes; install tools and fixtures; align workpieces.
• Load stock and verify machine settings; measure first-run parts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot tooling and processes; document production activity.
• Maintain safe operations and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support shift continuity by documenting completed work and needs.
