Georg Fischer is seeking a Machinist II to set up and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc and Haas controls to produce parts that meet print specifications. You will perform machine setups, tool changes, and use precision gauges to verify dimensions in a climate-controlled shop.

You will monitor quality, adjust offsets, and support safe, repeatable processes while contributing to continuous improvement and meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years CNC machining experience with basic setups, blueprints, and precision tools.
• Working knowledge of G and M codes and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform full basic setups on CNC machines and run jobs on lathes with Fanuc and Haas controls.
• Troubleshoot basic program and code issues to ensure proper operation.
• Install and maintain tooling, ensure proper offsets and alignment for production.
• Monitor parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish per specifications.
• Support continuous improvement and safe, efficient manufacturing processes.
