Job summary

BorgWarner Arden is seeking a Machinist II (E) to operate and set up CNC machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances. based in Arden NC, you will contribute to a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that produces automotive turbo and drive components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment preferred.
• Basic and advanced math skills including decimals, geometry and trig are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various CNC machines.
• Set up and adjust fixtures, cutting tools, and make tooling offsets on machines.
• Utilize blueprint specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece and setup requirements.
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications via first piece inspection.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions on material or work piece as guides for machining.
