Job summary

Tecomet in Windham, NH is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines in accordance with drawings and programs. You will maintain quality and safety standards, document activities, and support continuous improvement within Tecomet's culture.

The role requires precise measurement, adherence to GMP/GDP and 5S, and the ability to work in a team to meet production schedules. Prior machining experience and a GED/HS diploma are preferred, with an associate degree

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a production environment (E/D).
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by working to OOQ standards and using measuring equipment and inspection reports.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Ensure safe working practices and report Safety/Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify ways to improve productivity.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Identify and support manufacturing issues with Team Leader/Supervisor, assisting in resolution.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required.
