Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist I to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, following drawings and work instructions, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The position demands attention to detail, consistent records, and adherence to GMP/GDP policies.

Ideal candidates have a GED or HS diploma, production experience, and optional machinist training. The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and adherence to 5S and safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Experience of working in a production environment (E/D).
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by working to OOQ standards and using measuring equipment and inspecting reports.
• Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and seek improvements.
• Record all activities on the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Identify and support manufacturing issues with Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in work area.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required.
