Gexpro Services is seeking a CNC Machinist I in Theodore, AL. The role requires operating CNC machinery safely to produce metal components for our product line, loading/unloading parts, changing tooling, reading blueprints, programming the machine, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of CNC experience, fluency in English, and strong measurement and math skills.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; machining certification or technical school preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience with CNC machines or in a manufacturing plant preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret work instructions.

Aufgaben

• Read work orders and blueprints to machine products accurately.
• Assist in inspections of equipment, materials, and products.
• Load raw materials and parts onto machines and monitor operations.
• Change, load, and align cutting tools as required.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions against specs.
• Document actions by completing production work orders.
• Maintain machinery daily and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Set up mills and lathes by installing fixtures, attachments, and tools when needed.
