Job summary

Gexpro Services is seeking a CNC Machinist II / CNC Mill Machinist in Theodore, Alabama. The role sets up and operates CNC milling machines to produce precision metal components from various materials, interpreting blueprints, tooling, and offsets to meet tolerances and finishes.

Strong inspection, problem solving, and safety compliance are required for daily production and quality goals. This position pays $28.00 to $35.00 per hour and reports to the CNC Machine Lead.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of CNC machining experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with lathes, mills, plasma machines, and small tools.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions.
• Fluent in English; safety training knowledge (LOTO, hazard communication).
• High School Diploma or equivalent; pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings for production.
• Plan machining sequences, tooling, and fixtures required to complete each job.
• Inspect parts during production using precision instruments.
• Identify and troubleshoot tooling and setup issues; maintain quality.
• Ensure safety and document production activities.
