Job summary

Gexpro Services in Theodore, Alabama is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II/CNC Mill Machinist to set up and run CNC mills, read complex drawings, and optimize tooling and offsets. You will monitor operations, inspect parts, and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and on-time production.

The role requires 3-5 years of CNCMachinist experience, fluency in English, and ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment with standard PPE. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

3-5 years of CNC Machinist experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Experience with lathes, mills, press brakes, plasma machines and small hand tools.
Knowledge of conventional, CNC, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
Proficient with hand and power tools and able to read instructions.
Fluent in written and spoken English and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal parts per work orders and blueprints.
Read engineering drawings and determine tooling, sequence, and fixtures.
Install fixtures and align cutting tools and materials for production.
Review CNC programs and adjust offsets, speeds, and feeds as needed.
Inspect parts during production using precision measuring instruments.
Identify and resolve issues affecting quality, tool wear, or setup.
