Job summary

Gexpro Services in Theodore, AL seeks a CNC Machinist II to independently set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal components. You will interpret complex blueprints, select tooling, and optimize speeds/feeds to meet tolerances.

The role requires hands-on experience with CNC mills, precise measurement tools, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Reports to the CNC Machine Lead and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Fluent in English; able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Experience with CNC milling operations and setup.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Plan operations, tooling, and fixturing for each job.
Inspect parts during production to ensure tolerances are met.
Load and secure materials; input/edit CNC programs as needed.
Maintain machine and workspace safety.
