Job summary

TURBOCAM is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and set up 5-axis milling machines and lathes in our Barrington, NH facility. You will support prototyping and production of machined components and work closely with engineering and tooling teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CNC mill/lathe experience, basic setup skills, GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with tooling and Metrology. The role includes a 2nd/3rd shift differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree in machining or approved apprenticeship preferred.
• 2+ years of CNC mill and/or lathe operator experience including basic set-up.
• Basic understanding of trigonometry.
• Proficiency with GD&T and ANSI Y14.5; blueprint reading and metrology tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis milling machines and/or lathes; inspect finish tools.
• Perform basic TruePath and Mastercam operations.
• Consult with product development engineers on tooling needed to complete projects.
• Maintain fixtures and set-ups for use in projects as assigned.
• Report machine performance issues and coordinate with maintenance to resolve.
• Inspect and document operations per Quality Manual.
• Perform daily maintenance on machines.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; report hazards; cooperate with other machinists.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
