Job summary

TURBOCAM is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to operate and set up live tooling lathes for prototyping and production. You will train Level I/II machinists, consult with programmers on challenging projects, and ensure tool integrity.

You will apply CAD/CAM to optimize programs, build fixtures, inspect operations, and uphold quality while maintaining a safe, efficient shop environment. A 15% second shift differential applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; approved apprenticeship or machining degree preferred.
• 5+ years as CNC Lathe Machinist; 3+ years set-up/programming.
• Proficient in trigonometry and GD&T; strong blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate live tooling lathe machines and inspect finish tools.
• Provide or oversee training for level I and II machinists.
• Advise engineers and programmers on difficult projects and tooling needs.
