Job summary

Turbocam in Barrington, NH seeks a CNC Lathe Operator to set up and run live-tooling lathes for prototyping and production. You will inspect tools, perform basic CAD/CAM tasks, and collaborate with product development engineers to select tooling.

Daily maintenance, strict adherence to GD&T, and safe shop practices are essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree or approved apprenticeship, 2+ years of CNC lathe experience, and familiarity with ERP (Epicor)

Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC lathe experience including basic set-up.
• Basic understanding of trigonometry.
• Familiarity with GD&T and ANSI Y14.5.
• Experience reading blueprints and using metrology tools.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP experience preferred (Epicor).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up live tooling lathe machines.
• Inspect and select tools; perform basic CAD/CAM tasks.
• Collaborate with product development engineers for tooling needs.
• Maintain fixtures and set-ups for assigned projects.
• Monitor machine performance and report issues to maintenance.
• Document operations per Quality Manual requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
• Assist and coordinate with other machinists on shared equipment.
