SMS Elotherm in Shelby Township Michigan is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team.

6:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday, some Saturdays from 6am-12pm. Salary Range: $28.00 To $32.00 Hourly. SMS group is the leading partner in the world of metals, offering an entrepreneurial environment with opportunities to participate in charitable initiatives and a tuition reimbursement program.

Qualifications

• Read and understand basic manufacturing prints used for production of parts.
• Familiar with standard setup and fixturing procedures for CNC Mill and Lathe.
• Proficient utilization of the CNC machine controls.
• Proficient in manual programming using G-code.
• Use of band saws, presses and related shop equipment.
• Use of scales, calipers, micrometers, height gauge and indicators.
• Be able to read and understand Fanuc G-code a plus.
• Follow instructions and established procedures.
