Job summary

VanZandt Controls and Eagle Automation seeks an experienced Machinist to operate Haas CNC mills and lathes in a fast-paced Houston shop. You will read drawings, set up tooling, and work with Engineering to produce precision components.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of machining experience, CAD skills, and proficiency with Renishaw probing systems to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of parts. Join a growing team with strong quality focus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing/machining experience preferred.
• Experience with Haas CNC mills and lathes.
• Able to independently set up and operate Haas CNC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of CNC processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, and shop operations.
• Experience using CAD to design and modify mechanical parts.
• Experience measuring valves and components precisely.
• Experience using Renishaw CNC probing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify CNC programs.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes to manufacture parts.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritize multiple jobs to meet production deadlines.
• Read drawings and blueprints; follow work instructions.
