Job summary

WORKOVER SOLUTIONS INC. seeks a CNC Lathe Machinist to support our shop in Houston. You will independently set up and run Haas and Willis lathes, produce parts to print, and maintain tight tolerances with strong measurement discipline.

You will edit CNC programs, interpret drawings, select tooling, document production activities, and participate in safety and quality processes in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Ability to program, set up, and operate Fanuc-controlled Haas and Willis CNC lathes to produce parts to print.
• Read engineering drawings and tolerances, interpret setup sheets and work orders.
• Edit and optimize machine code to support part quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs independently including chucking, soft jaw prep, tool offsets, and work offsets.
• Monitor operations to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and thread gauges.
• Complete setup sheets, tool lists, inspection records, and material traceability documentation.
• Operate forklift or pallet jack and support material handling and shop duties.
