The ideal candidate has 5+ years of machining experience, strong CNC programming, and the ability to read blueprints andGD&T. Overtime and varying shifts may apply, with a focus on safety and quality in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining/manufacturing experience.
• Extensive experience with HAAS and Okuma CNC lathes.
• Strong CNC programming, setup, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate HAAS and Okuma CNC lathes to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Select and install tooling, chucks, collets, and attachments.
• Set tool offsets, reference points, and compensation; prove out programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform turning, facing, drilling, grooving, knurling, and threading operations.
• Inspect first-run parts and production workpieces to verify dimensions and quality.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and replace worn tooling.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance and maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
