Job summary

In-Place Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for the 1st Shift in Milwaukee. You will set up, program, and operate Haas machining centers and turning centers, using G&M code and Mastercam to produce parts to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, reading blueprints, inspecting parts with precision equipment, and continuously improving processes. A high school diploma or GED is required, and technical degree or Journeyman certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Haas experience preferred.
• Strong G&M code knowledge.
• Mastercam or similar CAM experience.
• Blueprint and GD&T knowledge.
• Strong setup, tooling, and inspection skills.
• Technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Haas vertical/horizontal machining centers and turning centers.
• Program and edit using G&M code and Mastercam.
• Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding.
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances.
• Inspect completed work using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
