- Load, prove out, and run CNC programs generated in Mastercam.
- Conduct first-article inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Support production runs by monitoring tool wear and making offset or process adjustments as needed.
Mastercam & Process Support
- Work from Mastercam-generated programs; make minor edits at the control when required.
- Collaborate with programmers and engineers to improve setup efficiency, cycle time, and repeatability.
- Follow setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions to establish consistent processes.
Quality & Inspection
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
- Maintain tight tolerances and proactively resolve quality issues.
Continuous Improvement & Safety
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, materials, or machine performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, cycle time improvement, and process standardization.
