Timken - Aurora Bearing has opportunities on afternoon shifts for CNC Machinists. We offer on-the-job training and growth opportunities with pay starting at $21.50/hr, plus $1.50 for 2nd shift.

The role involves programming and operating CNC machines for ID/OD operations, fixture changes, quality checks, and setup approvals. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with CNC machines (Hardinge lathe, HAAS, Mazak, Ganesh, Doosan a plus), and the ability to read

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ year manufacturing experience operating CNC machines preferred.
• Experience with gages and micrometers is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• 1st shift 7:00am–3:30pm; 2nd shift 3:30pm–12:00am.

Responsibilities

• Program and/or operate CNC machines to produce parts from bar stock.
• Select and change arbors, fixtures, speed, inserts and tooling per print specs.
• Run first article parts and adjust to meet quality requirements.
• Load parts, cycle machines, inspect at intervals, and adjust to maintain quality.
• Maintain machine operation and monitor fluid levels; surface grind and re-sharpen teeth as needed.
