Job summary

WORKFORCE Employment Specialists, LLC is seeking a CNC machinist to operate CNC machines and produce parts. You will load inputs, run cycles, and monitor tool wear and malfunctions while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and basic paperwork. Training occurs on first shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with a pay of $17/hr, transitioning to second shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM) at $19/hr. Full-time position with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school.
• One year experience in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools, or capacity to be trained to do so.

Responsibilities

• Creates part identification tags.
• Recognizes and loads correct tooling into lathe, mill, or 5-axis machine.
• Describes correct tool data from set up sheet.
• Teach tool offsets.
• Loads fixtures/work holding.
• Checks parts for conformance.
• Completes and maintains paperwork and digital records for jobs.
