Full job description. We have opportunities on day and afternoon shifts for machine operators at the Timken Aurora Bearing facility. On the Job training and Growth opportunity available. Pay based on experience starting at $18.50-19/hr + $1.50 for 2nd shift.
Operate and adjust production machinery that may include presses, laser marker, ink jet, electro etch, fit, ovens, swage, bore grinders, drill, mill and roll thread. Check parts for fit, center, stake, stamp and proper marking per the print specifications. This is done through visual and physical inspection as well as use of gauging tools including micrometer and calipers. Based on experience may require setting up machine per machine parameters. Run first piece parts when required and make appropriate adjustments to attain quality characteristics per print specifications and complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval. Load parts as instructed, cycle equipment and check parts at designated intervals and make necessary adjustments. Maintain machine operation including checking fluid levels.
1st shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. 2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am.
Salary info: $18.50 - $19 / hr
