Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate, set up and program CNC machines supporting the Raptor program on flight hardware. You will perform precision set-ups on DMG, Niigata, and Heller assets and help sustain high uptime in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires 1+ years of CNC experience, with preferred 3+ years and strong skills in milling/turning, blueprint reading, and shop math. Competitive pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and performing measurements.
• Experience with tool management and setup.
• Familiar with 5S and shop safety practices.
• Ability to problem-solve and suggest process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, setup, and program CNC machines for the Raptor program.
• Perform precision set-ups on DMG, Niigata, and Heller assets.
• Maintain high machine uptime and manage cutting tools.
• Conduct deburr and finish operations per specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep workspace orderly.
• Assist peers and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
• Document data and test plans for each process.
