Job summary

A defense and engineering firm is seeking a qualified Machinist to join the Machine Shop team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Virginia. This position involves programming and operating CNC mills and lathes, with a focus on precision machining according to DoD specifications. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes/mills and create fixtures for uniquely shaped parts.
• Comply with DoD drawings/models and maintain tight tolerances.
• Use standard measuring tools to inspect machined parts.
