UIC Arctic Response Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Machinist (Engineering Technician IV) to join the Machine Shop team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Virginia. This role involves programming and operating CNC mills and lathes while adhering to Department of Defense specifications.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of experience programming and operating CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes/mills and create fixtures for uniquely shaped parts.
• Comply with DoD drawings/models and hold tight tolerances on machined parts.
• Use standard measuring tools to inspect parts.
