Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of milling experience; aerospace experience is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, follow work orders and verbal instructions.
• Must understand feeds and speeds and communicate recommended changes to programming.
• Experience setting up and operating 5-axis machines for large complex parts.
• Proficiency with Fanuc and Siemens controls, and M and G codes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce parts from aluminum and titanium.
• Take precise measurements using calipers, gauges, and micrometers to ensure correct setup.
• Maintain quality by adhering to specifications and QA procedures; troubleshoot issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot 5-axis machines for large, complex parts.
• Provide training and back-up coverage as needed; report issues to production lead.
