Accelera in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced 5-axis CNC Machinist for a 5-month aerospace contract. You will independently set up and operate advanced 5-axis CNC equipment to manufacture complex aerospace components with tight tolerances and high quality standards.

The role offers a fast-paced environment and opportunities to apply your advanced machining skills. The position requires 5-axis expertise, the ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and perform precision inspections.

Qualifications

• 5-axis CNC machining experience with independent setup.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T.
• Experience inspecting with mechanical/electronic tools.
• Willingness to work 2nd/3rd shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Configure and run 5-axis CNC and conventional machines.
• Create aerospace parts per precise specs.
• Perform milling, boring, drilling, grinding, honing, threading, and contouring.
• Manage multiple machines and oversee workflows to maintain quality.
