Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL seeks a CNC Machinist to join our Platform Integration team. The ideal candidate will program, set up, and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes, reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce precision parts.

Preferred candidates have 5-axis machining experience, Fanuc or Siemens controls; a High School diploma/GED with 5 years of precision machining, the ability to lift 35+ pounds, stand long periods, and be a US citizen able to obtain Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce precision parts.
• Experience in manufacturing complex aerospace components is a plus.
• 5-axis machining and controls experience with Fanuc or Siemens preferred.
• Must be able to lift 35+ pounds and stand for long periods.
