Job summary

Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is seeking a CNC Operator in Dallas, NC. Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal parts, reading blueprints and inspecting parts to drawing specs.

You will monitor operations, adjust for quality, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining a safety-first mindset. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in CNC machining, a high school diploma, and strong math/mechanical skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC Operator experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and precision measuring tool proficiency; solid shop math understanding.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Inspect finished parts against drawings using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to resolve issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Participate in training to learn Dixon products and processes.
