Job summary

The Dixon Group is hiring CNC Operators for the 2nd shift in Dallas, NC. You will operate CNC mills and lathes to produce precision components and inspect parts to drawings, reading blueprints and using calipers or micrometers as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5+ years CNC experience preferred.

Location: 2925 Chief Court, Dallas, NC 28034
Pay Range: $20 - $30 per hour + 10% Shift Premium
Available Shifts & Hours: 2nd Shift – 2:55 PM to 11:25 PM, Monday through Friday

The role involves operatingCNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) mills and lathesto produce precision metal components and inspecting products to ensure they meet all drawing specifications. Ideal candidates will be able to confidently read and interpret blueprints, use measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers, and proactively recognize and adjust for any machining issues. What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5+ years of CNC experience is preferred.
• Experience as a CNC Mill or Lathe Operator is preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is required.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use measuring tools and read blueprints.
• Ability to use shop mathematics.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds over the course of a shift.
• Willingness to learn new things and be part of a team.
• Great attitude and attendance.
