Job summary

Walden's Machine is seeking a Level II Machinist to operate 3-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines with basic setup, fixtures, and tool offsets. 2–4 years of experience required; knowledge of prints and G/M codes is expected.

Overtime as needed, with comprehensive benefits and a growth path in precision metalworking. The role emphasizes safe operation, measurement, and quality control across multiple fixtures, with opportunities to work on advanced inspection tasks and production-tracking

Qualifications

• Basic experience with mechanical processes and hand tools.
• Evidence of success in level one machining duties for at least two years prior to hire.
• 2+ years of experience in machining roles.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and safety guidelines.
• Load/unload product in fixtures and operations.
• Protect machines and products by following processes and safe handling.
• Perform and record inspection processes per tolerances and specs.
• Perform basic deburr operations and edge blending.
• Interact with production tracking tools to log time and charge parts.
• Perform basic setup: fixtures, cutting tools, and CNC programs.
• Maintain quality by adjusting CNC offsets as needed.
• Perform intermediate inspection tasks using drawings and inspection tools.
• Other duties as needed.
