Walden's Machine, founded in 1976, operates as a high-precision aerospace machining facility, producing complex parts for major OEMs. Level one machinists load, operate 3-5 axis CNC equipment, perform in-process inspections, and maintain basic equipment and cleanliness while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience, basic shop math, and familiarity with inspection tools and deburr processes. GED or High School diploma preferred; EEO compliance is stated.

Competenze

• Must read and write English.
• Introductory competence in shop math such as fractions and decimals.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and their proper use.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical applications for nuts and bolts.
• Basic knowledge of part holding methods and deburr tools.
• Ability to interact with computers and CNC controls at a basic level.

Mansioni

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Load and unload product to be machined in various fixtures and operations.
• Protect machines and parts by following processes and transporting product safely.
• Perform and record inspection processes measuring features to tolerances.
• Perform basic deburr operations and edge blending with tools.
• Track time to job orders using Labor Track and Shop Trak; other duties as assigned.
