Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Level Two Machinist to operate 2-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines, with responsibility for basic setup and tool/fixture preparation.

Typical schedule is first shift; pay ranges from $26.00 to $39.25 per hour, plus quarterly bonus, PTO, holidays, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Evidence of level one machining duties for at least one year.
• 2-4 years of machining experience.
• Experience with CNC setups and offsets.
• Ability to read basic prints in English.
• Familiarity with basic CNC programming basics.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic setup operations, including fixtures, cutting tools, and CNC programs.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring and adjusting CNC offsets as needed.
• Perform inspection tasks of intermediate complexity interacting with drawings and more advanced inspection tools.
• Run production on multiple machines at once. (Primary & Secondary)
