Job summary

Collins Aerospace York, NE site is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment to convert raw materials into precision semi-finished goods. The work is performed in a clean, climate-controlled facility with safety and quality at the forefront.

External candidates may receive a sign-on bonus of $3,500. The role includes a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm) and a training period (7:00 am–3:00 pm, ~90 days).

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding GD&T.
• Experience with measurement tools (gauges, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC lathes, mills, or grinders and related equipment.
• Operate machines across multiple operations within print tolerances.
• Obtain inspection certification through on-the-job training and testing.
• Work 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm; training schedule 7:00 am–3:00 pm for ~90 days.
