Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, is seeking a manufacturing technician to perform machine setup and operation on CNC mills and surface grinders. You will read drawings, monitor tooling, and maintain precise tolerances while documenting production data on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include following work instructions, identifying process improvements, and handling facility chemicals safely. This is a 3rd shift role (Sun–Thu, 11:00 pm–7:00 am) with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
• Basic math skills including decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use multiple applications.
• Experience with measurement equipment such as gauges, calipers.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinders and mills.
• Read and interpret prints, drawings, and quality standards.
• Monitor tooling and wear, adjust as needed.
• Ensure dimensional tolerances and identify non-conforming parts.
• Maintain production records and inputs in systems.
