Watts is hiring a Machinist for our Menomonee Falls facility. You will perform precision machining, adjust CNC programs, set up and operate multi‑axis machines, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with mentorship for junior machinists and opportunities to contribute to manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of machining experience on lathes and mills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Modify and fine‑tune CNC programs to maintain efficiency and accuracy per engineering specs.
• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines, including multi‑axis systems.
• Diagnose and resolve machining issues; escalate complex problems to seniors.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve quality and safety.
• Train and mentor entry‑level machinists and promote best practices.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on manufacturability.
