Job summary

IDEX Health & Science in Middleboro, MA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for second shift. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, read engineering blueprints and GD&T, and inspect parts with precision measuring tools. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T.
• Capable of applying trigonometry and geometry to determine start/end points and tool paths.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture components per drawings.
• Set up machines and fixtures, perform tool offsets and edits.
• Inspect parts with micrometers/calipers and vision systems to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain safe operation and report malfunctions promptly.
