Qualifications

• 5 years of CNC machining experience in precision manufacturing or job shop.
• Proven ability to hold close tolerances consistently (0.001 or tighter).
• Strong blueprint reading with GD&T, surface finishes, and tolerances.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ability to perform simple to moderate CNC setups independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling/turning centers to produce precision components per drawings.
• Read prints, set up tooling, verify first piece and maintain quality.
• Adjust offsets and monitor tool wear to stay in tolerance.
• Communicate issues and status to supervision; support continuous improvement.
