Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist for 2nd shift in Elk Grove Village, IL. Operate FANUC-controlled milling machines to produce quality castings/forgings, following blueprints and specifications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, can read English, and lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime incl. weekends may be required during peak production. Safety and clean work area are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Read and follow written instructions and blueprints.
• Knowledge of machining techniques for close tolerances.
• Familiarity with CNC machine tool operating procedures.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions and read and apply blueprint specifications.
• Performs a complex series of progressive machining operations on a diversified line of work to close and exact tolerances and finishing specifications.
• Able to perform simple set-ups of many jobs. May operate more than one machine.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
