Job summary

Production Saw & Machine is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join the 2nd shift Short Run team in Michigan (3-11pm). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years CNC setup experience and be confident in troubleshooting machine and quality issues while interpreting blueprints and setting up Lathe, Milling, and Machining Center operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC setup experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot machine and quality issues.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Experience with Lathe, Mills and Machining Center setups.

Responsibilities

• Set up jobs from start to finish.
• Communicate with Quality and Engineering to ensure efficient runs.
• Operate CNC machines between setup tasks.
• Meet or exceed efficiency and production rate requirements.
• Maintain machine integrity through maintenance and housekeeping.
• Collect and document data.
