Goodwin Recruiting partners with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire CNC Machinists for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, read blueprints, and inspect parts for precision, safety, and quality.

We offer $25.00–$36.00/hour base pay with a $2.00/hour shift premium, overtime opportunities, a sign-on bonus, medical benefits, a 401(k), and paid vacation/PTO/sick time. Training is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 2nd/3rd shifts Sunday–Thursday evenings.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNC machining experience or machinist certification.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Position Summary

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and machining precision components to exact specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Load, edit, and verify CNC programs
• Perform tool changes and offset adjustments
• Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot issues
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
